Let's give them a turn
I don't know how many of you were in the middle of your courtroom TV shows this morning, when they were rudely interrupted by this guy. Not a great start to my day to say the least. Then to have him say that he is now going to fight to change the constitution because he doesn't like that gays are getting a chance to marry is just absurd. What is the big deal? What is it hurting? I mean you hear some of the wackos saying that it "ruins the sanctity of marriage", but doesn't divorce do that?
Don't we have more important things going on in this country for him to worry about besides the definition of marraige? I mean there are people dying in iraq for the oil he wants so badly and children who are starving right here in our own country. Not to mention eduational boards that can't afford to pay their teachers and many other serious problems like housing issues and domestic violence, these things did not go away suddenly.

You can't bend the constitution to your whim whenever you don't like the direction something is going.

Did they take a poll somewhere that says 90% of the population is against gay marriages and so that's why Bush is coming forward to declare that he's against it? What possible reason is behind his condemnation?
And Caffeine is right, there is so much more here that is more important to deal with, immediately. Homeless children, child abuse, seniors and medicare, medical insurance issues...the list goes on.
Bush is being a puppet now, just like he's always been a puppet.
The saddest thing is that he may be re-elected even though he wasn't supposed to be president in the first place. Remember that people!?!
