Vibrators and hand guns
Can there really be a place in this world that would legalize guns and ban sex toys? How about in this country? I am posting this info for the rest of you because this link was emailed to me this afternoon. I found it very disturbing.
A decision issued yesterday by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says Alabama doesn't have to lift its silly, arcane 1998 law banning the sale of sex toys. The Constitution does not include a right to sexual privacy, the panel of three judges ruled. Many Americans would disagree, including this one. To paraphrase Andrew Orlowski's brilliant quip about the INDUCE Act, under this law one could stroll down Alabama's southern streets selling semiautomatic rifles and dildos, and be arrested for the dildos.Alabama's Anti-Obscenity Enforcement Act prohibits, among other things, the commercial distribution of 'any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs for any thing of pecuniary value
I never heard of anyone dieing from an orgasm.
However, one other law in Alabama I find interesting is:
Selling, etc., pistol or bowie knife to minor. Any person who sells, gives or lends to any minor any pistol or bowie knife, or other knife of like kind or description, shall, on conviction, be fined not less than $50.00 nor more than $500.00
You can't sell sex toys or you will go to jail but people who give guns to kids only have to pay a $500.00 fine at the most.

I'm thinking the same shameful thing about time served for those convicted of child abuse/molestation, etc., versus drug dealers or those caught with drugs in their possession. Moral confusion, to say the least.
I recall reading a story somewhere (Texas, maybe?) who arrested a gay man and his partner for having sex - a gay-bashing neighbor called the police to report a "domestic dispute", or something of that nature, and 2 policemen went barging in and found the 2 men having sex. They were cuffed and taken to jail, and charged with sodomy, I think.

In Utah they recently caught two men having sex in a park and arrested them for public lewdness. They were then placed alone together in a holding cell. Where they began having sex. =-)

I don't see any problem with what she sells, but Ye Gods! does she use the wrong words to support herself.
"It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong to sell automatic weapons to children. It's how I pay my bills." ?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
