GOP asks for arrest of Michael Moore
Yesterday the Republican party in Michigan filed criminal charges against Michael Moore. The Charges are being issued because Michael Moore offered college students free underwear and Raman noodles in exchange for their promise to vote on November 2. This is part of Michael Moore's Slacker Uprising Tour.
"The satire of all this seems to have been lost on the Republicans. Or maybe it hasn't. The state of Michigan (where we spent most of last week) reported that over 100,000 young people recently registered to vote, a record that no one saw coming. The Slacker Tour has turned into a huge steamroller with a momentum all its own."
No one is trying to fight the strip club (in Texas) that's cover is a voter registration card.
Emo's, a downtown club, throbbed with the pounding sound of techno bass and drums on Sunday night. On a small stage a woman in pasties and fishnet stockings swung her body around a pole and then crawled across the floor as the crowd hollered.Away from the stage, a less titillating scene was playing out. As customers walked into the club, they were asked to show a voter registration card. The unregistered were sat down and signed up.
