Scap-booking
In one of my earlier posts I mentioned starting a scrapbook for each of my kids to keep some special things in for when they get older and to also weed out the trash that I have been collecting over the years. I finally went to the store last night to buy all of the supplies that I thought I would need and it is really amazing how much stuff the have just for scrap-booking.
I thought I was only going to need a few things like an album for each of the kids and some paper but I ended up spending over $100 on all kinds of stuff: wavy scissors, stickers, a paper organizer, a photos box, card stock, special adhesive (because Elmer's glue just won't do) and I decided on another album for the whole family for holidays and vacations and other special events. I have to give myself credit though I did not buy these awesome sheets of paper that were 1.99 a piece. I am just too cheap for that.
I had thought that this was just going to be something I did every now and then to keep these books up for the kids but after going to the store and seeing all of the things available I think I might actually enjoy this as a hobby. I could make a book for different events and things like that even making them as gifts for people (grandparents and such). But I don't want to become crazy with it, I am not that kind of person, ok maybe I am but I don't want to be that kind of scrap book person.
Someone please stop me when I start becoming a crazy person, if I haven't already. My husband said that he could already she his future Acura and retirement slipping away as I shopped. I hope I don't get that bad. I have seen people who are like that. It's not a pretty picture.

You know what I've come to realize? I like used cars. And debt. So it's okay!

That's good to know, because I may just really enjoy doing this. And we might have to sell one of the children. :)
