Today I got the final edit of the write up of the article that is going to go beside the picture of my newest tattoo. I wrote up about 4 pages and they had to reduce it to about 4 paragraphs. I was pretty happy with what they wrote but I did make some changes and sent it back to them and they agreed to the changes that I made and I wanted to share with you the following article that tells the story of why I got this tattoo.
I know I said I wasn't going to do this but I had to post something today. This is the painting that came from the drawing I posted before. I finally got a good digital camera and my husband snapped a few shots of my paintings for me. I will post more when I have some more time. For now, it's back to the mid-term.

This is my first real wallpaper, it's 1280x1024...sorry to the rest of you. I thought this one came out much better than the last...I even thought about taking down the cross picture and replacing it with this one, but practice makes perfect, we can't all be as good as.....some people (who I can't post a link to cause it's not up and running yet with all the pretty pictures flipping around, but you know who you are...ahem)
Today I took a break and made something new for the panic page. I hope you all like it. I do, It's my new wallpaper. I made it a smaller size to put up here but if you would like the WP let me know.
This is actually a photo that I ran thru some filters in Photoshop. At first I was going to make a wallpaper out of it, but it looks awful when it's so big. I like the size and the amount of texture that you can get just by using a few filters, it looks like a real chalk drawing.
"The Alien Baby" is one of my favorite paintings. I think I spent the most time working on it. It took me about 3 weeks to a month to get it looking just right. I have to point out that photos don't have the same quality as a painting, it looks much better in RL.
This is a drawing that I thought turned out very well. I drew it while on vacation with my husband. I was trying to teach him how to draw. I still own these shoes BTW.
"That Day" refers to the biggest day in any parents life. I reverted back to my old graffiti style with this one as well, I thought it had a nice "POW!" quality to it.
One of the many self portraits that I have done. This is the only one I have done in pencil though. I eventually transfered this one to a canvas and painted it (twice actually). Once I get my paintings up you'll see that one too.
This is a drawing I did one day when I was really bored, I thought it turned out pretty good though so that's why it's up here. Plus I need to get the film developed of my paintings.
